The main point is that you don’t wish to start and stop the mower without taking care to allow the blade to come to a full stop.
Other products I have seen, and that’s a battery level indicator that’s built right into the cover of the mower. If I had to sum this up, I would say that the EGO mower is a revolutionary product which cuts well, is comfortable to push, easy to fold up, and provides more than sufficient run-time on the included 4.0 Ah battery pack. This can be an impressive mower which makes my gas-powered version suffer a serious inferiority complex.
